Happy Spring! Today is a beautiful day here in Mississippi! I am loving the sunshine and warmer weather. I am spending the day finishing up several projects that I have been working on, but wanted to go ahead and show you this easy
peasy DIY Easter basket.
I can not for the life of me remember where I originally got this idea from. I will keep looking and if I find it, I will link back to her.
You start with a bowl, a crocheted doily (Dollar Tree $1), and some glue (she used fabric stiffener but I didn't have any and I wanted to make do with what I had on hand).

I first poured some glue into a bowl and watered it down just a bit. I then soaked the doily in the glue for a few minutes.

Then turn your bowl upside down and place the doily onto the outer part of the bowl.

Let sit for 24 hours or overnight to dry. Then carefully pull off the bowl, and you have this....

An easy
peasy easter basket. I filled with some
Spanish moss and a few of our
DIY glitter eggs.

cute! i love doilys. what about dying them, that would be super fun.
This is so easy even I could do it! Thanks...I am going to try it! Do you think you could use Modge Podge instead of glue?
The perfect little basket! =O)

Love this, I too saw the doilies dipped in Stiffy, but didn't want to spend the 6 bucks for a bottle, never thought to use glue... So thank you, I think I shall make a few baskets!
