Trick or treat!!!!

I just realized I never shared my outdoor fall decorations with you all. Since we have moved in our house, I have probably had 4 or 5 different things on my front door. ha!! I had this pumpkin door hanger for most of October.

But then I decided this past weekend to make this Scarecrow wreath. I went ahead and hung it and it will be there for a few weeks until I start decorating for Christmas!!!  

Last year I saw this adorable trick or treat tin made by Stephanie Lynn. I had a fit over it and decided to make one this year of my own. We had all the supplies on hand so this was a FREE project!!!! My tin was OLD and beat up, but that adds character, right?!  We left it out  with some candy for the trick or treaters since we would be trick or treating too! And to our surprise, there was still some candy left when we returned! We figured some kid would come by and empty all of the candy in their bag despite my sign to only take ONE! ha!!!

This was probably our last year to actually trick or treat. Our kids are really getting too old, but we think its fun to dress up and walk around the neighborhood! haha!

Avery was a duck hunter and ABS was Pebbles!  All homemade costumes too! I just can not justify spending $30-$40 on a costume!

  Andrew and Ashley were their own version of Pebbles and Bam Bam too!

 I told you a while back that my parents gave us a happy....Well, here it is! I am SO proud of this flag!!! I have been wanting one for a while!!!!!

And looking at the pictures, it doesn't look centered, but it really is!!! haha!

Old bathroom sign

I made another distressed sign to hang in our master bath a while back. We finally got it hung this weekend.

My husband had a bright idea to use coke lid thingys for the hangers since we didn't have the correct picture hanging hardware. I have to say, it was an awesome idea!!!

Just get you two lid thingys from a can soda, a washer, & a screw and there you have it!

 Once he had it on the back of the picture/wood sign, he lifted it just a bit.

 We then used a great idea that I found on pinterest to hang pictures. You dab just a bit of toothpaste on the hooks and press against the wall where you want your picture hung. It leaves a little toothpaste mark so you know where to drill the hole in the wall. We have used this picture hanging method a few times now and it works wonders!!!!

 Voila....my relax sign! I am decorating the master bath and bedroom in yellows and grays!

 Back in May when I found out that we would be moving, I knew then that I wanted to decorate in my master with gray. I had these pictures of the kids when they were all about the same age taken with the rubber ducky in the pail. They were in a box in the attic. When I came across them while cleaning out, I decided that I wanted to use them in our new house somewhere!

I made these frames by just using bead board and then attaching the frames they were in to the bead board and painting and distressing. We drilled holes at the top and ran black fabric through to hang them.

 These are hanging above my tub and I am so in love with these pictures especially since my babies are not so much babies anymore! LOVE reflecting on these memories daily!

 I also have just recently discovered Scentsy! aI got this plug in warmer to go in my master bath by doing a basket party recently.  If you haven't heard of Scentsy, I encourage you to check it out!

Birthday fun!

We had a fun evening celebrating Annah Brooke's birthday. She had a few friends over and we started things off by doing a nature scavenger hunt around the neighborhood. I have to say this was a huge success. The kids all loved it. They found acorns, pine cones, leaves, twigs, etc.

We then roasted weenies and made smores!

Spur of the moment

Wade, ABS, & I made a quick trip to our hometown Sunday and got to do some lovin'!

The trip came up at the last minute and we were only going to be there for a few hours, so we made the best of our time and got to visit with all 3 of our nieces and our nephew!

While we were there, my parents gave us a happy that I can.not.wait.to.share with you!!!! And I got me some cotton!! ha ha!!! I have been DYING for some cotton!! Wade, ABS, & my daddy went for a quick ride in the jeep and came back and surprised me with some!!!  It doesn't take much to make this girl happy!!

A quick spur of the moment trip turned into a fun filled day with family!!!

Homecoming festivities

Wade and I were able to go to the homecoming pep rally. We decided to take Avery & Annah Brooke along too and just check them in afterwards. I love a pep rally and it brings back sweet memories!
